The articles titled Bed Bath & Beyond (aka Bed Bath & Beyond (big-box retailer)) and Bed Bath & Beyond (online retailer) are about different companies, but Talk:Bed Bath & Beyond (online retailer) redirects to here (Talk:Bed Bath & Beyond). I don't know the topic well enough to work out which comments on this talk page, and its archive, apply to which company. Please can a subject expert sort them out so each article has its own talk page as normal? Certes (talk) 22:47, 11 October 2023 (UTC)
- @20:35, 11 October 2023 162 etc. moved page Bed Bath & Beyond to Bed Bath & Beyond (online retailer) over redirect (No consensus to make this the primary topic.)
- @22:32, 11 October 2023 Estar8806 moved page Bed Bath & Beyond (big-box retailer) to Bed Bath & Beyond (Requested by 162 etc. at WP:RM/TR: Undiscussed. This has been bounced around a few times, but should stay primary topic until a discussion happens)

- Appears to be sorted out now. Fortunately we still have a handful of competent admins who can clean up after incompetent page movers. – wbm1058 (talk) 03:40, 28 October 2023 (UTC)
- Sounds a bit like an attack but a deserved one at that. Don't know how that page got moved without the talk, same thing happened at Coup! around the same time (I can't possibly think of how I would've unchecked move associated talk, but I digress). Glad there are "competent" admins who can clean up. Though I resent the implication of "incompetence" from taking an incident or two as one's entire track record, this certainly would've warranted a trouting. estar8806 (talk) ★ 03:51, 28 October 2023 (UTC)
- @Estar8806: see User talk:Wbm1058#Oops. Part of the problem is with the community kicking out old administrators because they have become "out-of-touch" and are unfamiliar with current practices and recent changes, like say, a bug that was first reported in 2007 that the developers say is a desired feature, not a bug, and have made a "low" priority – meaning, if ya want it done, ya gotta do it urself! So page movers need to be aware of this bug, and manually work around it, until it's fixed. Don't take this personally – you are one of many, some of whom are administrators! wbm1058 (talk) 13:38, 28 October 2023 (UTC)
- @Wbm1058 I appreciate this. I appreciate you pointing the bug out, I was totally unaware of it and completely confused. Thank you for clearing up that confusion. estar8806 (talk) ★ 17:26, 28 October 2023 (UTC)

Bed Bath & Beyond (online retailer) → Beyond, Inc. – Reposting malformed request on behalf of User:108.54.96.167, with the following rationale: "Beyond is now parent to Bed Bath Beyond and the relaunched Overstock, so it's not doing business as just Bed Bath and Beyond." 162 etc. (talk) 04:20, 3 January 2025 (UTC)
- Move to Beyond, Inc. This article is mainly about the company. It now operates two different online stores, Bed Bath & Beyond and Overstock. It does not talk enough about either of the stores for them to be separated. However, having both stores under the same company makes naming the article after one of them a bit problematic. Jesse Viviano (talk) 13:05, 1 January 2025 (UTC)
Support a move to Beyond, Inc. for the reasons above. Bailmoney27 talk 16:53, 2 January 2025 (UTC)

Beyond, Inc. → Bed Bath & Beyond (online retailer) – This company has changed names and is now known as Bed Bath & Beyond, Inc. The current article title is therefore no longer accurate. Defunct big-box retailer Bed Bath & Beyond is still the primary topic; move this article back to its former disambiguated title. 162 etc. (talk) 18:40, 30 August 2025 (UTC)— Relisting. Tenshi! - Comment For WP:NAMECHANGES to apply, it needs to have evidence of common use in reliable sources post name change, not just a press reelase. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 22:53, 30 August 2025 (UTC)
- Reliable sources both before and after this announcement have commonly used the name "Bed Bath & Beyond", not Beyond, Inc. The article moved to its current title as a WP:NATURAL disambiguation, given the existence of Bed Bath & Beyond. Now that Beyond, Inc. no longer is the exists, there is no reason to keep the current title. 162 etc. (talk) 17:25, 31 August 2025 (UTC)
- Support but... it appears that they are not just online, but also reopening physical storefronts -- this announcement might have started after the initial nom. So there might be a need for a different title. With regards to the requested move, there appears to be plenty of reliable sources now talking about the return of Bed Bath and Beyond, with many of them referring to the bankruptcy of the former, and the purchase by Overstock.com [1][2][3][4]. While it might be WP:TOOSOON, it is reasonable to expect that the current physical store of Bed Bath & Beyond will be what people are actually looking for, so this might actually need to become the PRIMARY, with the former store having some disambiguating title. LogicTrace (talk) 04:56, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
- Support but I would consider other alternatives. If we don't find a suitable alternative in the course of this discussion, no objection to repeat RM in the near future if the proposed title becomes inaccurate. The primary topic question may also need to be reconsidered although that may take more time to settle. I found additional sources that confirm LogicTrace's findings. The proposed title reflects the company's current common and official name and the parenthetical appears to accurately describes their current business. We don't necessarily need to change the parenthetical the day they open their first brick and mortar (if they do) but this will need to be revisited if it becomes a substantial part of their business. We may be headed for a Lionsgate or Atari (disambiguation) situation. --MYCETEAE 🍄🟫—talk 21:26, 2 October 2025 (UTC)
