Veľká Lúka (Hungarian: Nagyrét) is a village and municipality of the Zvolen District in the Banská Bystrica Region of Slovakia.

The municipality lies at an altitude of 311 metres (1,020 ft)^[3] and covers an area of 8.53 km² (3.29 sq mi) (2024).^[4]

It has a population of 868 people (31 December 2024).^[6]

In year 2021 was 828 people by ethnicity 788 as Slovak, 35 as Not found out, 9 as Czech, 9 as Romani, 4 as Rusyn, 2 as Irish, 2 as Other and 1 as Ukrainian.
