Association with Singer Cycles
Several sources stated that John Birch made the motor wheel for Singer Cycles. These are incorrect. David Birch advised that his grandfather Frank Birch was the Birch in Perks & Birch and not John. 'The Singer Story' by Kevin Atkinson may also corroborate this. Frank Birch joined Singer in 1901.NealeFamily (talk) 02:42, 16 February 2012 (UTC)
