In the infobox it says she's been active since 1968, given she was born in 1965 this would mean she was 3 years old. I can't find any info supporting this in the article or elsewhere and older revisions put it at 1975 and 1977 respectively. i was going to go in and remove this part of the article until i saw the warning, so i would like to discuss why i think that tidbit should be taken out. also, i think this is my first time starting a conversation on a talk page, so if i happen to be doing something incorrectly please let me know!

first off, in icelandic culture people are usually only referred to by their given name rather than their given name AND patronym or matronym, even in formal settings, which is due to icelandic naming customs. so, if you are referring to someone named björk guđmundsdóttir, you would simply call them björk, unless you need to use their second name for clarity reasons or something of that sort. also, on many other articles of people famously known by only their given name, they aren't explicitly explained to be "known mononymously" (ex: Rihanna, Zendaya, Adele, Beyoncé, etc.), so i think its fair. i am personally a big respecter of the page previews as well and i like to get as much information out of a page preview as possible, so if we decide to get rid of the mononym note there would be more space for more immediate and more important information if that makes sense. i just think in all of that, the mononym fact is implied and i could do without it.
