Adding theoretic vapour / actual density percentage lines to phase diagram
In every point of the phase diagram in section "Triple point" there is a certain quotient "actual molar volume of water / (theoretic or actual) molar volume of vapour water". In the orange coloured vapour area this would be everywhere 100%, molar volume there is simply R × T / p, while in the liquid and solid areas certain distinct percentage lines result which should also be a bit visible? --LKreissig (talk) 17:03, 16 May 2022 (UTC)

Split proposal
I propose split from main article into "Hydrogen oxide" (including the chemical infobox) to focus on chemical compound. Absolutiva 21:42, 12 August 2025 (UTC)
- If your going to use a systematic name for water, use "Oxidane", as it is technically a IUPAC accepted name for water Wrongperson58 (talk) 05:24, 25 August 2025 (UTC)

- Oppose – this article focuses on water. H2O2 already has its own article, and I'm not sure which hydrogen oxides you are thinking about, except for the two already mentioned. Christian75 (talk) 16:00, 9 September 2025 (UTC)
- Oppose as unclear. It looks like this article already does focus on the chemical compound, as a subtopic of the higher level water article. I'd need to see more specificity about what topics would remain here vs what would go into a new article. A clearer aricle title would be water (chemical)—given how lay-facing this article is, better to keep it lay-titled. Christian75, we have eight articles about speciifc neutral hydrogen-oxide compounds, and several more about ions and isotopologues. DMacks (talk) 17:39, 9 September 2025 (UTC)
