Hello, welcome to Wikipedia. I've noticed that you've been editing a lot of the articles on French Polynesian history recently. I made changes to your edits on Teriitaria II since it is a A-level article and need to follow correct formatting. The introduction is a summary of the content of the article and usually does not need sourcing. The sources should go in the main body of the article. The sources you added gives a more clear timeline of her deposition. Using the sources you provided, I added more details from them to the deposition section and just a short summary in the introduction section. Can I ask that you also add more details about the source instead of a bare link in the future? I also think it might be helpful to add details from the sources other than just using them to cite dates. KAVEBEAR (talk) 17:38, 11 August 2023 (UTC)
- Hello M. Kavebear,
- Thank you for welcoming me to Wikipedia. It's not long since I expressed myself on this site. But that's no excuse for my clumsiness and laziness when it comes to writing. I must admit that the architecture of your article is of excellent quality. I'm still far from having reached such a level of excellence, but I'm learning every day and I'll try to draw inspiration from it. The update of your article on Teriitaria is proof of your open-mindedness and willingness to work together on Polynesian history. A lot has been said about them. There's a proliferation of myths that time has finally enshrined and that we're trying to combat. The contribution of relevant sources is sometimes decisive in the search for truth. This truth is often found in the writings of people who were present on site when the events took place. Thanks to you, Teriitaria's deposition is now set in stone for a very long time to come.
- Respect Mr. Kavebear.

Hello, I'm ProClasher97. I noticed that you made a comment that didn't seem very civil, so it may have been removed. Wikipedia is built on collaboration, so it's one of our core principles to interact with one another in a polite and respectful manner. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. I’ve noticed your edits towards the deletion discussion you are currently involved in, as well as the edit summaries of recent edits such as here [1] and here. [2] Please keep in mind that these kinds of things are not acceptable at all, and I very highly recommend you refrain from making such comments, as you may end up getting blocked if you continue. - Hello ProClasher97, don't waste your time writing such nonsense—contribute and post your sources to move things forward. Merry Christmas—it's April 1st! Duponnerie (talk) 08:25, 1 April 2025 (UTC)
- @Duponnerie: The personal attacks that you keep adding in your edit summaries need to stop, as they are not civil and can be seen as harassment. If it’s in regards to a disagreement on the deletion discussion you have been involved in, you should propose reasons as to why the article should not be deleted in a constructive, civil way. Resorting to personal attacks (such as telling people to "take their pills" [3] [4]) is not acceptable at all, it’s not going to convince people of your side, and it is likely only going to result in you getting blocked. - Hello again ProClasher97, I’m scared out of my mind. The wind is blowing strong today. The fools are out, they’re coming in squads! Duponnerie (talk) 10:11, 1 April 2025 (UTC)

Hello, Duponnerie,
Thank you for creating John Jefferson (missionary).
I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:
Subject of article is not significant; and has no 2ndary sources that talk about him. The major source for the article is "Wilson" which is a primary source (colleague of the subject). Probably should delete the article, and move any content into an article about missionaries in Tahiti; maybe French_Polynesia#Religion.
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Noleander}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, John Jefferson (missionary), for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.
If you wish to contest the deletion:

Ways to improve Gregory Warner (missionary surgeon)
Hello, Duponnerie,
Thank you for creating Gregory Warner (missionary surgeon).
I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:
Subject of article is not significant; and has no 2ndary sources that talk about him. The major source for the article is "Davies" which is a primary source (and a colleague of the subject of the article). Probably should delete this article, and move any content into an article about missionaries in Tahiti; maybe French_Polynesia#Religion
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Noleander}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Hi Duponnerie. Thank you for your work on James Elder (missionary). Another editor, Klbrain, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:
An engaging biography for an early missionary to Australia, notable for his strong civic engagement early in the Sydney colony. The creator has run into some difficulties; the content here is fine.

Rather well-referenced from 19th and 20th century sources. Perhaps too many primary references for some, but I think that there are sufficient reliable source to warrant inclusion (despite the creator's difficulties).
