Talk:Hades

typo

Armed with the helm of invisibility forged for him by the Cyclopes, Hades with his siblings and other divine allies defeated the Titans and became rulers in their place The war lasted for ten years and ended with the victory of the younger gods.

article is protected, can somebody add the missing period between "place" and "The war" ~2025-34131-40 (talk) 22:35, 16 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

dubious sourcing

"Theophile was a girl who claimed that Hades loved her and that she was better than Persephone.[57][58]"

57 is a primary source in Greek.

58 is a blog translating that source (it specifically cites the page cited as 57.)

I feel like it should be a single citation, not 2. (presumably [58])

I've added a better source (a published, scholarly one) to that sentence, and have removed the blog (as blogs generally aren't reliable). I've instead directed the reader to Wypustek's translation. The link to Packhum was fine, though. – Michael Aurel (talk) 01:54, 30 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Realm of Hades: "Fields of Asphodel"

(Unable to edit due to semi-protected status)

There at the trivium sacred to Hecate, where three roads meet, souls are judged, returned to the Fields of Asphodel - Fields of Asphodel links to an unrelated novel that shares the title instead of the likely intended Asphodel Meadows linked elsewhere in the section. I'm unaware of style guide specifics but it may be better to remove the link entirely as it seems to be redundant due to said earlier linking. Recluesive (talk) 13:01, 10 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Done Good catch of a longstanding fault, thanks! NebY (talk) 14:22, 10 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

The article currently states that Dionysus is the son of Hades, which is incorrect; Dionysus is the son of Zeus. [1] Scottaeantor (talk) 14:26, 13 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
