The hooks is, in fact, interesting, good, and backed up by three reliable sources. You might consider posting to Wikipedia talk:Did you know#Halloween set (this has no impact at all on approval; I just don't know if you've seen the discussion there). I looked over the article for compliance with policies and noticed a couple of minor issue to resolve:
  • For "His popularity from Polygon enabled him to create his own content full-time."(24 September 2024) the source supports the order of events but only speculates on causality. If there's not a more direct source, I'd suggest moving this to the beginning of the paragraph and writing chronologically as a topic sentence, something like, "After developing a fanbase on Polygon, Gilbert began to create his own content full-time."
  • For "invoked leftist themes",(24 September 2024) is there a more clear verb to use here? (employed? included?)

Page quality

It seems like whoever wrote much of the biography starts the sentences with the same word "He" over and over. Have edited it, but to what standard is this page's quality actually being held? There are awkward grammar choices made all over this thing.

This issue mostly presented between the opening paragraph and early life, boldly edited these issues, but was more curious as to how it went so long looking this badly written. MaddWiki (talk) 10:47, 24 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, it looks like you're new here, so welcome to Wikipedia! You did a good job making the lead read better, but I wanted to point you to Wikipedia's manual of style, specifically our guideline on words to watch. You began a sentence with "His most notable previous work..." which is considered editorializing by this guideline. Also, a statement like "He is currently the fact checker..." is proscribed because it'll become a dated statement in the near future. I know some of these rules might not seem obvious, and they're not intended to be exact rules, but they aim for a certain level of consistency in style. I've removed the link to Jonah Scott, as the voice actor described in that article appears (based on photos and lack of any connecting information) to be a different person than the musician Jonah Scott of The Altogether, who's referenced in this article.
