- ... that Brian David Gilbert's online content includes a musical version of Stranger Things, a series of Halloween-themed ABBA covers, and a guide to health insurance?

Tagging for subsequent review given the topic ban of the first reviewer. Sorry! — Chris Woodrich (talk) 00:42, 9 October 2024 (UTC)
- For "
His popularity from Polygon enabled him to create his own content full-time.
"(24 September 2024) the source supports the order of events but only speculates on causality. If there's not a more direct source, I'd suggest moving this to the beginning of the paragraph and writing chronologically as a topic sentence, something like, "After developing a fanbase on Polygon, Gilbert began to create his own content full-time." - For "
invoked leftist themes
",(24 September 2024) is there a more clear verb to use here? (employed? included?)
@Vigilantcosmicpenguin: {{ping}} me and I'll mark this back as approved, Rjjiii (talk) 04:04, 9 October 2024 (UTC)
- @Rjjiii: Done. I made the change you suggested on the Polygon statement, and I changed "invoked" to "involved". — Vigilant Cosmic Penguin 🐧 (talk | contribs) 05:08, 9 October 2024 (UTC)
Oh, involved! Looks good, Rjjiii (talk) 05:20, 9 October 2024 (UTC)
- I just want to pop in and ask that this be run on Halloween to go with the other hooks people are doing for that day. Di (they-them) (talk) 23:48, 9 October 2024 (UTC)

Page quality
It seems like whoever wrote much of the biography starts the sentences with the same word "He" over and over. Have edited it, but to what standard is this page's quality actually being held? There are awkward grammar choices made all over this thing.
This issue mostly presented between the opening paragraph and early life, boldly edited these issues, but was more curious as to how it went so long looking this badly written. MaddWiki (talk) 10:47, 24 October 2024 (UTC)
- Hi, it looks like you're new here, so welcome to Wikipedia! You did a good job making the lead read better, but I wanted to point you to Wikipedia's manual of style, specifically our guideline on words to watch. You began a sentence with "His most notable previous work..." which is considered editorializing by this guideline. Also, a statement like "He is currently the fact checker..." is proscribed because it'll become a dated statement in the near future. I know some of these rules might not seem obvious, and they're not intended to be exact rules, but they aim for a certain level of consistency in style. Thanks for helping to improve this article! — Vigilant Cosmic Penguin 🐧 (talk | contribs) 17:00, 24 October 2024 (UTC)

Hi, honored to pledge my energy to BDG. I made minor edits myself if you disagree we can discuss them here. Copyright check is green. Checked sources; everything seems reasonable, including self-published sources of BDG about himself, and sensible Valnet and twingalaxies usage. I'll check the links with a bot soon. —LastJabberwocky (Rrarr) 10:19, 10 May 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks for taking this review. Your copyedits look good. — Vigilant Cosmic Penguin 🐧 (talk | contribs) 20:20, 10 May 2025 (UTC)
- I think is already great ro be promoted. The only thing I'm not sure is broadness; I checked and couldn't find anything more. I found a single cite for his starfield appearance, but it's marginally reliable, so I wouldn't use it. Anyway, closing my review! —LastJabberwocky (Rrarr) 05:55, 11 May 2025 (UTC)

Note on Jonah Scott link
I've removed the link to Jonah Scott, as the voice actor described in that article appears (based on photos and lack of any connecting information) to be a different person than the musician Jonah Scott of The Altogether, who's referenced in this article.
