Yet another discussion about atheism

We've had a half dozen discussions about atheism on this page, none of which determined that Carlin was fully atheist. His comedy routines are not a definitive source, and in any case they establish that he was anti-religion more than disbelieving in a higher deity. His daughter said he was agnostic. He wrote in his final book, "When it comes to God's existence, I'm not an atheist, and I'm not an agnostic. I'm an acrostic. The whole thing puzzles me."
