I've done some substantial editing to the page and I think that there is enough notability here to warrant it being included. I was lucky in that the fansite has scans of most of the coverage the band received back in the 70s, along with the headline and date for most of the entries. There is more on the site, but I figured I'd just take the basics and include it here. I'm normally loathe to take things from fan pages, but these scans are pretty thorough in how they're done and archived on the site, so they are usable as far as I can tell. If deletion is to be done, I'd prefer it be through AfD. I'm also going to try to make a page for Leming, since he seems to be notable independently from the band as well.
