@Kowal2701: IMO, we can keep using "Boko Haram insurgency", as reliable sources still use it (see Google Scholar results for the period after ISWAP's emergence) and it remains factually accurate (as Boko Haram is still one of the main insurgent groups, and all rebel groups in the area emerged from Boko Haram). according to your logic we would have to change the Mali War to Mali-Niger-Burkina Faso-Algeria war because it had spill overs in those regions. if it is taking place MAINLY in Nigeria then it should be Nigeria. JaxsonR (talk) 21:36, 26 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
