Drietoma is a village and municipality in the Trenčín District in the Trenčín Region of northwestern Slovakia.

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1244.

The municipality lies at an altitude of 230 metres (750 ft)^[3] and covers an area of 35.83 km² (13.83 sq mi) (2024).^[4]

It has a population of 2187 people (31 December 2024).^[6]

In year 2021 was 2233 people by ethnicity 2134 as Slovak, 81 as Not found out, 29 as Czech, 7 as Other, 4 as Serbian, 4 as Russian, 3 as Rusyn, 3 as Hungarian, 1 as Vietnamese, 1 as Ukrainian, 1 as Polish, 1 as German, 1 as Moravian, 1 as Bulgarian and 1 as English.
