He previously also served as Minister of State in the Government of Rajasthan.[1][2] He is a member of the Indian National Congress .[3][4][5]

Early life and personal life

Bharosi Lal Jatav was born on 2 August 1948 in Jhirna village in Karauli district, Rajasthan, to Tek Ram Jatav and Champa Devi Jatav. He is married to Resham Devi (since 1960); the couple has seven children. His primary occupation is listed as agriculture. Specific details about formal education are not widely documented.

He represented the Hindaun constituency in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly in multiple non-consecutive terms spanning from 1980 to 2023. He has been involved in local party organization and governance at the district level.[4][5]

He reportedly faced a suspension from the Congress party until November 2023 amid internal factional disputes, though he remained aligned with the party's ideology.
