According to Kulikowski, the main reason for Asterius' campaign lies in suppressing the second rebellion of Maximus.^[1] In his view, the conflict between the barbarian tribes is of less importance. I miss this nuance in the article Geoffrey F (talk) 19:54, 20 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

if there is no objection I would like to rewrite this article. Kulikowski's publications shed a completely different light on this piece of history.
