Larry Smith ASC, BSC is an English cinematographer.

Early life

Born in London, Smith left school at age 15 to work as an electrician at Shepperton Studios.[1]

Career

Smith began as the chief electrician on Stanley Kubrick's Barry Lyndon (1975).[1] He went on to work with Kubrick again as a gaffer on The Shining (1980) before making his debut as cinematographer with Eyes Wide Shut (1999).[2]

In addition to cinematography, Smith also made his directing debut with the 2015 film Trafficker, which he also wrote and produced.[3]
