Tinpo Lee (born May 31, 1968), credited as Andrew Tinpo Lee or Andrew T. Lee, is an Asian American actor, writer and producer most known for his portrayal of Marty Reyes in in Final Destination: Bloodlines.[1][2][3]

Biography

Tinpo was born in Castries, St. Lucia. He is the son of a Taiwanese pianist a physician from Hong Kong.

Tinpo graduated from UCLA with a degree in English Literature. He moved to New York City and worked as a copywriter, but soon became disillusioned and decided to become an actor.

After landing his first television role on Law & Order SVU, Tinpo moved to Los Angeles in 2005 to pursue his passion full time.

Career

From 2006 to 2009, Tinpo played Marty Brown in 70 episodes of the ABC soap opera General Hospital. He then took a 5 year break from acting, returning in 2014 to appear in 13 television series and movies over the next 14 years.

Notably, Tinpo played the character of Rex in Jim Carey's Showtime series Kidding[4]. From 2021 to 2023, he recurred as Paul Wong (Eleanor's father) on the series Never Have I Ever, recurred in 4 episodes of Kung Fu[5] and appeared in all 3 seasons of the Disney Plus series Doogie Kameāloha, M.D.[6]

In 2025, Tinpo played Marty Reyes in the 6th installment of the Final Destination film franchise: Final Destination Bloodlines.[7][8][9]

In 2025, Tinpo produced, co-wrote and starred in the short film Fu[10], directed by his daughter Peyton Elizabeth Lee[11] under the umbrella of their daughter-father production company Prince Hobo Productions.

Other notable film appearances include The Curse of La Llorona and playing the character of James Lee in Roman J. Israel, Esq..

Personal life

Tinpo lives in Los Angeles with his wife and three children, including actress Peyton Elizabeth Lee[12][13] who played titular roles in two television series, Andi Mack and Doogie Kamealoha, M.D. Peyton also voiced the lead character of Prue McKeel in the Laika stop-animation feature Wildwood[14].
