Turpan North railway station (Chinese: 吐鲁番北站) is a railway station on the Lanzhou–Xinjiang high-speed railway, serving the city of Turpan in Xinjiang, China. The station is located about 10 km northwest from the city center, very close to the Turpan Jiaohe Airport.
Turpan North railway station is located much closer to the city than the older Turpan railway station, on the older "conventional" Lanzhou–Xinjiang railway.
Station Details
The station takes up 150,000 square metres of space, of which there are 3 platforms and 8 tracks.
There are two floors to the station, with the upper floor housing the entry and a ticket booth, while the lower floor contains the exit.
