English: Pictured are Royal Marines from 43 Commando Fleet Protection Group, based at HMNB Clyde, conducting an ‘Underway Boarding Exercise’ in conjunction with a local Ferry.

The Exercise is designed to strengthen the work that 43 Commando’s Fleet Contingent Troop (FCT) carries out on counter-narcotics and counter-piracy operations around the world.

The troop consists of around 30 men, who are the Royal Navy’s boarding specialists, trained in enhanced access and entry techniques.
