Walker Township is one of twelve townships in Rush County, Indiana. As of the 2020 census, its population was 800 and it contained 350 housing units.[3]

Walker Township was organized in 1826.[5]

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 29.93 square miles (77.5 km2), all land.[6]
