Here's what I posted to the New User log on Day 1: Hi all, I've been using wikipedia occasionally over the last year, after a friend told me about it. I work in Canada as a Systems Analyst, but my interests in wikipedia will cover topics like: wind energy, telescopes / astronomy, climate science, plus anything else that grabs my attention. I always enjoy browsing through the Discussion page behind an article and am always impressed (mostly) by how civilized we can be and together produce such a powerful repository of knowledge. I'm currently (2018) learning about Templates (or things that behave like templates), most recently the one that ends up saying Main article: <over there>

Interesting how plain-text "Template" (no double braces) creates a box. Also the ones that start with template: also produce a Category entry at the bottom of the page.
