Sorry if I'm bugging you but here is a picture I found of Mr. Red Weiner. I'll let you decide if you wish to upload or not. That's weird we were both working on silly name articles at the same time. I've been going through some of my old stubs alphabetically and expanding them. Charles Assmann was next on the list. Thanks, ~WikiOriginal-9~ (talk) 02:16, 5 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Would the picture you linked be in the public domain? (I know stuff from I think 1930 and before are PD-expired, but I'm less familiar with how image copyrights stand for years after that...) Also, I came across Weiner when I was reading an article (ref 61) that mentioned his extremely obscure distinction as the "last Eagles quarterback to throw for two touchdowns on four or fewer pass attempts in a game" until Tanner McKee last week :) BeanieFan11 (talk) 02:23, 5 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Oh cool. I'm not 100% sure if it's public domain or not. I just see people upload pictures like this sometimes, like this one that was uploaded to one of my creations today. ~WikiOriginal-9~ (talk) 02:28, 5 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

... that in between the innings of his high school baseball games, Red Weiner(pictured) would remove his equipment, travel over to his school's track, and compete for the track and field team?
Source: Star Ledger ("In between innings, he would shuck his catching togs and jog over to the nearby track, pick up a javelin and throw for the track and field team.")
ALT1: ... that Red Weiner was a "whale of a football player"? Source: Morning Call quote
ALT2: ... that in 1934, Red Weiner helped the Philadelphia Eagles defeat their opponent so bad that the they folded? Source: NBC ("The last Eagles quarterback to throw two TD passes in a game where he threw four or fewer passes was Reds Weiner in that historic 64-0 win over the Cincinnati Reds at Temple Stadium in West Oak Lane in 1934 ... The Reds folded a few days later.")
ALT4: ... that Red Weiner was among the NFL's leaders in passing touchdowns despite throwing only six passes in the entire season? Source: PFR
ALT5: ... that in the same season, Red Weiner played for the Philadelphia Eagles against the Reading Keys, and for the Reading Keys against the Philadelphia Eagles? Source: discussed in "Professional career" section
ALT7: ... that football player Red Weiner accomplished a feat for the Philadelphia Eagles in 1934 that was not repeated until 2024? Source: see ref for ALT2
I think the ALT5 hook is the best one: "... that in the same season, Red Weiner played for the Philadelphia Eagles against the Reading Keys, and for the Reading Keys against the Philadelphia Eagles?" The image is in the public domain, and the facts are supported by appropriate cites in the article. QPQ is satisfied, references are suitable, and the article is big enough and new enough to qualify.
