Porażyn [pɔˈraʐɨn] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Opalenica, within Nowy Tomyśl County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland.[1] It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) west of Opalenica, 15 km (9 mi) east of Nowy Tomyśl, and 40 km (25 mi) west of the regional capital Poznań.
