Question about the lead in the Truck Series articles

Question: should the Truck series lead have Pickup truck racing instead of Stock car racing?

For example: The 2026 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season is the upcoming 32nd season of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, a pickup truck racing series sanctioned by NASCAR in the United States.MysticCipher87(alt-account) (talk) 20:00, 18 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Either way is fine - pickup truck is more specific, so I'd do that if it were me. glman (talk) 17:57, 5 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

redirecting articles to the race name

I have been thinking about this for a while, and i lowkey wanna see what you guys think, but should we start having a race that has a different sponsor each year (ex. Credit One NASCAR Amex Credit Card 300, Hard Rock Bet 300) be redirected to the race? (ex. with the formers be redirecting to the 2024 Credit One NASCAR Amex Credit Card 300 and 2025 Hard Rock Bet 300 specifically) as sponsor names come and go, one offs (in these cases for miami, even tho hard rock bet's unlikely to stay, given miami's return to the finale) the generic fan would likely want to look up that specific race. I've already done some, like the Pit Boss/FoodMaxx 250 and the US Marine Corps 250. just wanted to get your opinions and stuff. 45BearsFan (talk) 03:02, 3 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

If a particular race title has only ever been used once then it seems more sensible to have that title redirect to the article about the specific race that actually used by that title. If a title has been used multiple times then it should either go to the broader generic article about races at that venue, or to a disambiguation page if necessary. Information about MRN/PRN announcers for O'Reilly/Truck Series races

Hey all, been thinking about this question for the past year or so and wanted to see if I could get answers. I've had some trouble figuring out the MRN/PRN booth announcers, turn announcers, and the pit road reporters for each of the O'Reilly/Truck Series races from 2025. I usually haven't included that information for the last couple years and wanted to add them for this year, but it's been difficult finding out the exact lineup for those said races. Most of the announcers for Cup have usually done double duty within the race weekends, but standalone O'Reilly/Truck Series races would be harder to determine. Looking to see if anyone would have an answer on this. Thanks, and let's get ready for the 2026 season! Tyman9348 (talk) 03:34, 4 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

O'Reilly, Truck Series Race Articles/What Races I am Attending

hey everyone! that was an interesting Clash Yesterday wasn’t it? anyways, for O'Reilly and Truck Series Articles, it’s best that we do what I did for their respective Championship (O’Reilly) Races (truck). Tyman, for the PRN/MRN deal, I’d do who is doing the Cup Series race (just to be safe). That’s what I did for the championship races. Also, I am announcing I will be heading to Chicagoland for the O'Reilly race and IMS for the Brickyard 400!

lets have a great 2026 year helping with articles and may the best driver win the championship! Brycenrichter (talk) 23:17, 5 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

That seems like a reasonable format to follow. @45BearsFan I'll ping you for your thoughts/opinions. Tyman9348 (talk) 02:21, 6 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
I 100% agree with this, like i mentioned before, i just used the same format as xfinity and trucks. 45BearsFan (talk) 18:25, 6 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

There is a requested move discussion at Talk:Bank of America 400 (Oval)#Requested move 4 February 2026 that may be of interest to members of this WikiProject. Vestrian24Bio 11:41, 11 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Should the JGR vs. Chris Gabehart & Spire lawsuit be in its own article or kept separate?

Should the JGR vs. Chris Gabehart & Spire lawsuit be in its own article or kept in separate sections within the JGR, Chris Gabehart, and Spire Motorsports articles?

I've made a draft to see what it would look like: Draft:Joe Gibbs Racing v. Chris Gabehart. MysticCipher87(alt-account) (talk) 13:47, 25 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Once it has enough coverage to meet WP:N. I am not familiar with the standard for legal issues. glman (talk) 17:33, 25 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Probably is fine as a separate page if you would want to create it Yoblyblob (Talk) :) 18:37, 25 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
