Question from THINKSMART1 (07:06, 23 October 2025)
Hello can you help submit my article for review --THINKSMART1 (talk) 07:06, 23 October 2025 (UTC)
- Hi @THINKSMART1 - I assume you are talking about Draft:Thuggizzle? Can I ask, what use do you make of ChatGPT, or similar AI chatbots, to help you on Wikipedia? Although it is not forbidden to use this kind of technology, it is strongly discouraged, for the reasons given in this essay. As to your draft, let me ask you first which of the ten sources currently in the article you think are the three best ones - they need to be reliable independent sources with significant coverage of the subject. Cheers, SunloungerFrog (talk) 07:36, 23 October 2025 (UTC)
- Hi @SunloungerFrog, thank you for taking the time to reach out and for clarifying the sourcing expectations.
- Yes, I’m referring to Draft:Thuggizzle. I understand and respect the guidance around avoiding overreliance on AI tools; I used outside help mainly to organize references and formatting, but the rewritten draft now reflects my own work and direct summarization of verifiable sources. I’ve taken care to ensure the text is neutral, factual, and fully based on independent, published coverage.
- Regarding the strongest sources in the current draft, the three I believe best establish notability are:
- 1. **KSAT 12 News** – Major San Antonio hotel showcases local entrepreneur’s water business (independent ABC affiliate; clear third-party reporting).
- 2. **Supermarket News** – Thuggizzle Appalachian Mountain Spring Water – Supermarket News Feature (national trade publication with editorial oversight).
- 3. **Voyage San Antonio** – Meet Thuggizzle of Thuggizzle Cares Inc. (independent local outlet that provides direct, sourced background on the subject).
- These offer significant coverage of Thuggizzle’s public work, philanthropy, and business efforts, and they were the basis for the neutral rewrite now in the draft.
- Thank you again for your time and for helping me learn proper sourcing and editorial standards. I appreciate your guidance and would welcome any further suggestions for improvement. THINKSMART1 (talk) 10:37, 23 October 2025 (UTC)
- Right, I'm going to say this only once: stop using ChatGPT to write your articles. It is really obvious that you're just cut'n'pasting chatbot output. Of those sources you have given above, the third [1] doesn't exist at all (that is a dead giveaway of chatbot output, by the way), the second [2] is too short and not independent (the content will have been supplied by Thuggizzle), and the first [3] looks better, but looks like churnalism, i.e. a thin skin over a press release, so not really independent either.I suggest you go back to your draft, remove all the non-existent sources (there are more of them) and then re-draft, yourself, based on the actual sources that there are. You may need to find more, and there's useful information about how to choose good sources and avoid bad sources here. When you have a decent draft, feel free to ping me again, and I can take a look at it. Cheers, SunloungerFrog (talk) 11:36, 23 October 2025 (UTC)
- Hi @SunloungerFrog — thanks for the clear direction. I’ve gone back through the sources and removed anything non-independent or press-release-style. The three strongest, independent pieces with meaningful third-party coverage appear to be:
- 1) **San Antonio Express-News (Hearst)** – “‘The right thing to do’: San Antonio rapper to donate 10K cans of his water to local charities” (Apr 22, 2021). Staff-written local newspaper coverage with context about his work and nonprofit activity. https://www.expressnews.com/news/article/The-right-thing-to-do-S-A-raper-Thuggizzle-16121538.php
- 2) **KSAT 12 (ABC affiliate)** – “Major San Antonio hotel showcases local entrepreneur’s water business” (Mar 12, 2024). Independent reporting on the hotel partnership and product details. https://www.ksat.com/news/local/2024/03/13/major-san-antonio-hotel-showcases-local-entrepreneurs-water-business/
- 3) **News4SanAntonio / WOAI (NBC/CW; Sinclair)** – “Minority businesses taking center stage at Hyatt Hotel” (Feb 22, 2023). Staff report featuring Hodge’s participation and quotes about the water brand and local business context. https://news4sanantonio.com/news/local/minority-businesses-taking-center-stage-at-hyatt-hotel
- (As supporting local-TV coverage of earlier activity, there’s also **FOX San Antonio** on his Food Bank donation in 2021: https://foxsanantonio.com/newsletter-daily/rapper-donating-more-than-2000-water-bottles-to-san-antonio-food-bank)
- I’ll redraft the article strictly from these independent sources (and any comparably strong ones I can find), remove anything non-existent or promotional, and keep the tone fully neutral. Once revised, I’ll ping you for another look. Thank you again for the guidance.

- You used an AI chatbot to reply to me - please don't. And don't use it to write articles either. Let's hear the real @THINKSMART1 please. Cheers, SunloungerFrog (talk) 12:01, 23 October 2025 (UTC)

Question from THINKSMART1 (18:04, 25 October 2025)
Hello can you check my sandbox to see If I'm making progress --THINKSMART1 (talk) 18:04, 25 October 2025 (UTC)
- I take it you mean Draft:Thuggizzle as before. It is getting better - at least there are no invented sources now. However, you need at least two more sources like this one to have a chance of his meeting the notability guidelines. Are there full length reviews of his music work? Or other news articles, preferably in higher profile newspapers? Keep looking! Of course it may be that he is not sufficiently notable yet, but may become so in the future if his charitable works expand, or he makes more of a name for himself in the music industry. Cheers, SunloungerFrog (talk) 07:50, 26 October 2025 (UTC)
Hi SunloungerFrog,
Hopefully you know I've just been assigned a mentor – it's YOU! ;-) Your eagle-eyes might have noticed an interest in typography, but I promise to curb my enthusiasm.
Actually, I've been editing WP before, but lost my account due to e-mail issues …
I've also done a few smaller edits without logging in. Would it be possible to transfer those IP:edits to my account at some point?
Also I need advice on how to fix an issue with images that have been scanned in from historic slides. At least one photograph is laterally reversed – a problem that can also be caused by using a selfie camera. I have used {{mirrorH}} but this is not ideal. Can that style be applied only to the img tag that results from [[file:image.jpeg]] rather than the whole float? Might need a new template, or might already be a feature I haven't discovered. Tc 13 17 19 (talk) 00:13, 30 October 2025 (UTC)
- Hi @Tc 13 17 19. If you've lost your previous account, you should follow the instructions at WP:COMPSOCK to avoid any accusations of sockpuppetry. I'm afraid you can't transfer edits from one account to another. On the picture front, I can't really advise, as this is quite outside my area of expertise. You could ask at the WP:TEAHOUSE or maybe just fix the images in your editing tool of choice before uploading them? Cheers, SunloungerFrog (talk) 06:19, 30 October 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks @SunloungerFrog, I think WP:COMPSOCK doesn't really apply as none of the suggestions can be implemented (except creating a new account and considering Committed_identity)
- previous account was at least 5 years ago
- I can't remember precisely what the name was, but I'm sure it no longer exists. Searches for Username and for possible edits all failed to find anything
- All use of WP through that account, then IP edits, then my current account are temporally isolated and separated by at least several months
- I don't want to transfer edits from one account to another – I just want to claim a few related IP edits. I will be making more edits to the same issue so it's not important, but would be neater to have them under the same account.
- I want to avoid editing the images and re-uploading, if possible, as they have been uploaded by a User who had access to a collection of historic slides. I'll certainly ask in WP:TEAHOUSE though. Sounds like the right forum.
- Thanks Tc 13 17 19 (talk) 01:48, 31 October 2025 (UTC)
- Ah, yes, if you can't remember your previous account name, there's nothing to be done. As far as this goes
I don't want to transfer edits from one account to another
- an IP account and your logged-in account both count as accounts. And edits cannot be transferred between accounts.I hope the Teahouse is able to help you sort out your pictures. Cheers, SunloungerFrog (talk) 06:10, 31 October 2025 (UTC)- I have finally finished mirroring the image in Sydney_Opera_House#Opening taking Template:Image_frame as an example. I've noted the edits from 25 January 2025 (which were also me), and done a few other minor tweaks.
- Should the image float also 'clear' the Reconciliation heading? Tc 13 17 19 (talk) 03:39, 5 November 2025 (UTC)
- It looks OK to me, but I am not an expert on pictures! One thing to bear in mind is that tweaking aspects of images (size, float etc.) so that it looks good when rendered on your browser setup might not look similarly good on other readers' browser setups. Particularly desktop vs. mobile. See MOS:IMAGES for more detail. With regard to the mirroring question, you could also ask for advice at Wikipedia:Graphics Lab. Cheers, SunloungerFrog (talk) 06:59, 5 November 2025 (UTC)
- I wouldn't put anything out without having tested it. Inspector, Responsive design & Mobile. (Other techniques are available) Besides, those aren't the tweaks I was referring to. Note the progression from “finally finished …” to “other tweaks.” You could check the history …
- Also, I did mention the documentation for Image frame that I used as a guide to doing it properly. ie. making Image frame look like a regular Image included with [[]]
- PS. Your whirligig barnstar is stressing out my core2 duo. It probably looks fine on your browser setup. Tc 13 17 19 (talk) 16:37, 5 November 2025 (UTC)
- Like I said, I am not an expert on images. Whatever you've done to the opera house picture looks OK to my layperson's eye. I'm sure if there are any problems, other more knowledgeable editors will draw them to your attention. I must admit I hadn't noticed that one of my barn stars rotated! Cheers, SunloungerFrog (talk) 16:42, 5 November 2025 (UTC)

You unfairly deleted my page.
I spent time making it, adding references, adding a website external links, and improving it, Then it gets deleted, There is no rule saying ''INDICATE WHY IT SHOULD BE THERE'' MyNathaniel69 (talk) 21:25, 5 November 2025 (UTC)
- @MyNathaniel69, I suggest you read about notability, which is a key factor in deciding whether there should be an article about a subject or not. On the basis of what you'd written in the article, and the references you had in there, it didn't seem that the game was notable, and there was nothing in the article to indicate why it was significant and not just one among thousands of online games. You can request the deleting administrator, CoconutOctopus, to restore the article to draft space; if they are happy to do that, you can work on it further there at much less risk of deletion. You might also like to read Your First Article, which has some tips about how to approach writing an article, and the sort of sources you need to do that successfully. Question from DanilaOK (09:09, 9 November 2025)
Hello! How im gonna create a page? --DanilaOK (talk) 09:09, 9 November 2025 (UTC)
- Hi @DanilaOK. Before you get into writing new articles, I'd strongly recommend that you get some experience of just making edits to existing pages first: take a look at the suggested tasks page. However, if you're really keen to write an article from scratch, read through Help:Your first article first, then use the article wizard to guide you through the process. Some general suggestions from me:
- The most important thing is to gather the sources from which you'll write the article first. Don't be tempted to write the article up front and then find the sources to back it up, because that's difficult.
- Very generally, you will need three reliable independent sources with significant coverage of the subject to demonstrate that the subject is sufficiently notable to warrant its own article. There's useful information about how to choose good sources and avoid bad sources here.
- Make sure you use your own words to write the article - don't plagiarise your sources, because copyright violations are taken seriously on Wikipedia.
- Don't use a chatbot or other kind of AI to generate an article - they don't do a good job at all, and your article will probably end up getting deleted.
- Use draftspace or your sandbox to draft your article, rather than create it first off in mainspace. That will allow you to take your time. When it's ready, just move it to mainspace.
- Good luck! Cheers, SunloungerFrog (talk) 10:17, 9 November 2025 (UTC)
Question from Ivan Valkron Tachyon (06:20, 10 November 2025)
How do i made my own wiki page about a video game company? --Ivan Valkron Tachyon (talk) 06:20, 10 November 2025 (UTC)
- Hi @Ivan Valkron Tachyon. I'm going to give you the same advice as I gave to the editor above, that you get some experience of just making edits to existing pages before trying to write a new article: take a look at the suggested tasks page. However, if you're really keen to write an article from scratch, read through Help:Your first article first, then use the article wizard to guide you through the process. - Use draftspace or your sandbox to draft your article, rather than create it first off in mainspace. That will allow you to take your time. When it's ready, just move it to mainspace.
- As you intend to write an article about a video games company, you should get familiar with the guideline for establishing notability of companies, and you should be able to get subject-matter help at Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games. Good luck! Cheers, SunloungerFrog (talk) 06:38, 10 November 2025 (UTC)
Question from Elbaleg (10:00, 10 November 2025)
I am happy to have a mentor. Wikipedia can be daunting!
I have a question:
I have secondary sources to add to the Sam Vaknin article but when I try to add them on the Talk page, I cannot because it is semi-protected. Where can I post the secondary sources? Thank you for your help.(talk) 08:57, 10 November 2025 (UTC) --Elbaleg (talk) 10:00, 10 November 2025 (UTC)
- Hi @Elbaleg. The talk page has been protected until 9 December because of persistent vandalism; it currently requires autoconfirmed access (account older than 4 days and at least 10 edits) to edit. So you have two choices - make at least 10 edits elsewhere and wait until 14 November, when you'll be autoconfirmed, or wait until 9 December. I suggest you do the former - there are plenty of edits that are needed for you to look at over the next four days. Cheers, SunloungerFrog (talk) 10:16, 10 November 2025 (UTC)

- Hi @Beeflover12 I don't know whether you're using the source editor or visual editor.
- Source editor - take a look at Help:Referencing_for_beginners, which sets out how to use the RefToolbar tool to create inline citations.
- Visual editor - take a look at Help:Introduction to referencing with VisualEditor/2, which sets out how to use the
button to create inline citations.
- Note that neither of the two URLs you included in your edit summary are suitable to use:

- https://www.reddit.com/r/soundcloud/comments/1oqqxkp/why_you_should_delete_your_songs_first_before/ exists, but Reddit is not considered a reliable source.
- I hope that helps. Cheers, SunloungerFrog (talk) 12:06, 19 November 2025 (UTC)

Question from KneecapDestroyer on Genesis Mission (23:16, 5 December 2025)
Hello, if there is a non-neutral statement with no reference, may I delete it? I could also try and make it more neutral, but this particular statement is quite hard to modify in such a way. The statement is "Experts believe Genesis will catalyze breakthroughs in climate modeling, healthcare, and space exploration." I'm not sure how I should handle it since I've just been copyediting.
Thanks --KneecapDestroyer (talk) 23:16, 5 December 2025 (UTC)
- In short, yes you may. However, you could also read through the existing sources to see if any of them support the statement, or add a {{cn}} tag. But "Experts believe..." is a fairly clearcut case of WP:WEASEL, so I think you'd be OK to remove it. Make sure you leave a clear edit summary. Cheers, SunloungerFrog (talk) 23:47, 5 December 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you! I'll finish up the edit. KneecapDestroyer (talk) 00:56, 6 December 2025 (UTC)
Question from Jamesawiv on Wikipedia:Sandbox (03:04, 8 December 2025)
Hello how do I publish this page for review --Jamesawiv (talk) 03:04, 8 December 2025 (UTC)
- Hi @Jamesawiv. I assume you are talking about User:Jamesawiv/sandbox. I have put a {{Userspace draft}} template on to it, and there's now a button that will allow you to submit it for review as part of the articles for creation process.
- However, there are several problematic areas, the principal one being the sourcing. As this is a biography of a living person, all statements need to be referenced to a reliable independent source. At the moment, there is a good deal of unsourced content. In addition to that, you need to have at least three reliable independent sources with significant coverage of the subject to establish its notability.
- There's useful information about how to choose good sources and avoid bad sources here.
- Finally, in case this is an autobiography, you should note that these are strongly discouraged on Wikipedia, because it is very difficult to maintain a neutral point of view when writing about oneself. I recommend you read WP:AUTOBIOGRAPHY to learn about some of the pitfalls.
- I hope that helps. Let me know if I can help any more. Cheers, SunloungerFrog (talk) 08:08, 8 December 2025 (UTC)
Question from Marc Moscato From Buffalo (02:16, 9 December 2025)
I tried to write an article but it was rejected. I'm not sure exactly why and wondered if someone can help me publish it. Also, I can't seem to find the article I submitted to re-edit it. --Marc Moscato From Buffalo (talk) 02:16, 9 December 2025 (UTC)
- Hi @Marc Moscato From Buffalo. Your draft is here: Draft:John Young. It was rejected because it doesn't reference any sources: any article content must be able to be verified, and that requires published sources. In addition, to demonstrate that the subject is sufficiently notable to warrant an article, you need at least three reliable independent sources with significant coverage of the subject. There's useful information about how to choose good sources and avoid bad sources here. I hope that helps. Cheers, SunloungerFrog (talk) 05:37, 9 December 2025 (UTC)

Question from Sir Stitches (17:31, 9 December 2025)
Hello, thank you for being my mentor.
I have a question about linking to source material.
I’m writing an article about an author. In addition to links to reviews of her books in the national press, I also have links to the books on the publisher’s page. Are the latter links to the book’s pages on the publisher’s website allowed as source material?
Best wishes,
Sir S --Sir Stitches (talk) 17:31, 9 December 2025 (UTC)
- What do you intend sourcing from them? Better to source, e.g., a selected works section from reviews or other secondary sources than the publisher's site. That's what I did at Andy Shepherd (writer) Cheers, SunloungerFrog (talk) 17:39, 9 December 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks ever so much. I’ll follow your lead. Sir Stitches (talk) 18:25, 9 December 2025 (UTC)
- Hello again.
- I've created a page for my client in the Sandbox page of my user account.
- Are you able to give me feedback on it, or should I submit it to for review using the button at the bottom of the page?
- Many thanks,

- I would say that there is a bit of tidying to do, in terms of making sure that references come immediately after punctuation, not before. Also that you should repeat the references that are book reviews immediately after the books you've listed, so that it is crystal clear that you are seeking to establish notability via WP:NAUTHOR - that generally requires at least two works, with at least two reputable reviews or significant prizes each. Your sources / references look just about OK to me, but an AFC reviewer may have a different view. Before submitting, I suggest that you copy the wikitext to Draft:Madeleine D'Arcy, prepending the {{AFC draft}} template, and submit from there. Cheers, SunloungerFrog (talk) 13:12, 12 December 2025 (UTC)
- That's fantastic, thank you.
- I'll follow your guidance and then see what happens. Thank you very much for all the help. Sir Stitches (talk) 13:22, 12 December 2025 (UTC)

Invitation to reach a consensus on Runit Debbarma
Hi, I have been adding maintenance tags to this article Runit Debbarma earlier, which were removed by the author of the article without any appropriate changes/addition. Despite of proposed deletion, these tags were once again removed by the author of the article without any explanation. Currently, the article is an AFD-related discussion, but these tags were removed too, despite several warnings to the author. If you can give it a quick look at it, we probably can come to a consensus. Thank you for your time. Khorang 07:49, 14 December 2025 (UTC)
- @Khorang, may I ask what prompted you to post on my talk page? It looks a lot like WP:CANVASSING. I suggest you let the AfD play out. Cheers, SunloungerFrog (talk) 08:04, 14 December 2025 (UTC)
- Understood. Thank you. Khorang 08:07, 14 December 2025 (UTC)
- I got the same message. I think the main concern here was not the AfD itself, but that the page creator was disruptively removing deletion templates. TornadoLGS (talk) 19:53, 14 December 2025 (UTC)

Mentor welcome templates
Hi, SunloungerFrog, I notice you have been welcoming mentees to Wikipedia; thanks for that, and bravo! I just signed up as a mentor recently, and found the sole welcome template, {{Mentor welcome}}, wanting. So, I created {{Welcome mentee}} and have started to use that one. Feel free to use it as well, and let me know how you like it. I am active on the Welcoming committee, and I think we need a selection of mentor templates available to us to choose from; spare ones like {{Welcome}}, graphical ones for some users like {{Welcome to Wikipedia}}, and others. In some cases, it might be sufficient simply to add a mentor or Homepage link to some of the existing welcome templates. Feel free to add any ideas you have on this to the template talk page, or contact me on my Talk page. Thanks! Mathglot (talk) 12:30, 14 December 2025 (UTC)
- Hi @Mathglot and thanks for pointing me in the direction of the template. I just used it in earnest for the first time, and think it's definitely better than the existing mentor welcome one. Cheers, SunloungerFrog (talk) 16:16, 15 December 2025 (UTC)
- Yvw. I don't know if you've run into this situation, but even if I sit on my dashboard and jump on a new mentee as soon as they are listed, a good part of the time they have already been welcomed by somebody else using a standard welcome template. (This appears to be related to some delay in mentees appearing on the dashboard.) I still want to introduce myself to my mentee, but not with either of the two mentor templates we have now because they are too long and would duplicate a lot of the information in a standard welcome. So, I created {{welcome mentee brief}} for this situation, i.e., to briefly introduce yourself as their mentor. And it even has an option to say, I'd also like to welcome you... so it flows better after the first welcome. Thanks, Mathglot (talk) 00:16, 18 December 2025 (UTC)
Question from AbbaAhmad (15:06, 15 December 2025)
Hello, how do I create an article --AbbaAhmad (talk) 15:06, 15 December 2025 (UTC)
- Hi @AbbaAhmad, and welcome to Wikipedia. I've left a message on your talk page with some useful links that I recommend you read through.
Good luck! Cheers, SunloungerFrog (talk) 16:15, 15 December 2025 (UTC)

Question from Referenceverifyer (08:13, 20 December 2025)
Hello. I am verifying and removing references that do not conform to wikipedia's policy. --Referenceverifyer (talk) 08:13, 20 December 2025 (UTC)
- It is certainly important that content in Wikipedia articles is verifiable. I would note that in this edit you didn't actually remove a reference, but rather an external link, with the edit summary
(WP:SPS) removed self published references acting as self promotion
. I am interested why you consider it to be self-promotion? Is it your contention that the article's author added it to the article, and that it is not sufficiently high-value? Cheers, SunloungerFrog (talk) 08:35, 20 December 2025 (UTC)

Question from AdultAlienAdventures (14:38, 23 December 2025)
Let me know if I can improve the submitted articles at all, giving it my first try; just trying to document and ensure everything submitted is neutral and well cited :) --AdultAlienAdventures (talk) 14:38, 23 December 2025 (UTC)
- I think the key thing, and what the editors who have reviewed your drafts so far have said, is that you need to demonstrate that the subjects are notable. In general that means an article needs at least three reliable independent sources with significant coverage of the subject. There's useful information about how to choose good sources and avoid bad sources here. Concentrate on finding those sources for the articles you have drafted and make sure that they are based on those sources, and you should be good. Question from CannedCantrips (20:00, 23 December 2025)
Hello SunloungerFrog! Just started looking into becoming an editor today. How well should I know the policies and guidelines before I get started editing? I became an editor because I want to do independent research on some topics in chemistry and I thought this would be a good way to exercise my research muscles. I believe I know enough chemistry to pursue this seriously (I am about to graduate with my bachelor's in chemistry). I'm excited to see where this leads! Looking forward to receiving your help. --CannedCantrips (talk) 20:00, 23 December 2025 (UTC)
- Hi @CannedCantrips. You certainly don't need to know all the policies and guidelines, but I'd suggest looking through the links I have put on your talk page before you get started in earnest. One of the key things is making sure that information you add is properly sourced so that it is verifiable, so I'd suggest you pay close attention to that. Cheers, SunloungerFrog (talk) 06:32, 24 December 2025 (UTC)

Question from Muhammad Umer 003 (02:26, 27 December 2025)
How can I add information about a company that is not available on Wikipedia? --Muhammad Umer 003 (talk) 02:26, 27 December 2025 (UTC)
- Hi @Muhammad Umer 003. If you want to add extra information to an existing article, then make sure it is reliably sourced so that it is verifiable and make the edit. Making a new article is more difficult, and I wouldn't recommend that as your first focus on Wikipedia. If you do try to give it a go, then make sure you are thoroughly familiar with the notability guidelines for companies. Cheers, SunloungerFrog (talk) 22:51, 27 December 2025 (UTC)

Hello! I would love some help in bettering the Draft:Aleph Katz page to make the resubmission acceptable. Thanks! --ALFrK (talk) 21:50, 28 December 2025 (UTC)
- Hi @ALFrK. I suppose I would start off by asking, what are your three best sources about the subject? By "best", I mean ones that are reliable, independent, and with significant coverage of the subject. (There's useful information about how to choose good sources and avoid bad sources here). If you don't have those three sources, then chances are that the subject is not sufficiently notable for a standalone article. Cheers, SunloungerFrog (talk) 00:14, 29 December 2025 (UTC)

- As long as you have a published, reliable source for the data, you can just add it into the article. Question from Bad at pseudonyms (20:58, 18 January 2026)
Hi SunloungerFrog! I'm planning to draft an article, but I don't know what it should be called. One source says it's commonly called the "Indiana, Ohio incident" (it took place in a town named Indiana in the state of Ohio) but that seems too vague. --Bad at pseudonyms (talk) 20:58, 18 January 2026 (UTC)
- Hi @Bad at pseudonyms. Well, I have no idea what the subject is, so it's difficult to advise. I suggest you start it at Draft:Indiana, Ohio incident, and it can always be renamed when it goes into mainspace. You will want to check out the notability guideline for events too. Cheers, SunloungerFrog (talk) 21:18, 18 January 2026 (UTC)
- I ended up going with 1992 Pennsylvania Brachiotherapy Incident. (Apparently it was in Pennsylvania and not Ohio. I don't know why I misremembered.)
- Based on the notability guideline, I think it qualifies. It's been extensively reported on (by regulation handbooks and NRC incident reports, if not by news) and caused a lot of restructuring of nuclear medicine regulations Bad at pseudonyms (talk) 21:35, 18 January 2026 (UTC)
Question from GreatWave (04:36, 19 January 2026)
Hello @Sunloungerfrog, I had made updates, corrections and expansions for the page for Gauri Gill (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gauri_Gill), but a promotional banner was added on top. I have only made factual updates. Can you please take a look and let me know how I can improve this page? The banner was added when only the first introductory paragraph was updated, where the quotes had been placed since much earlier by a previous editor. It would be great to understand how to improve this so I can reference the learning for future updates to other articles as well. Thank you! --GreatWave (talk) 04:36, 19 January 2026 (UTC)
- Hi @GreatWave. Probably in the first instance you should contact the editor - Jay8g - who added the maintenance template on the page. I have not had time to read through the article in detail, but I would say that it is very long, and probably over-referenced. I would say that it is worth your reading how to write from a neutral point of view, and try and make the text more concise; in particular you could cut down on direct quotations.
