Ernestfromphilippines statement to Borgenland regarding to the alleged incompetence over multiple removal of edits in the article "2025 in the Philippines" by Wikipedia user Borgenland

@Borgenland, I have found out that you have removed my "premature" edits (revision 1324350979) to the article "2025 in the Philippines" here in Wikipedia multiple times and said, "...you have done nothing but put bugs..." to the article and naming me incompetent prior to the mention of WP:CIR because I have caused unintentional vandalism/damage to the article, as my act of including a source for an added information was unsuccessful due to difficulties as I still am an amateur of doing it here but not that I am causing intentional vandalism over articles or not having sufficient knowledge to English-based Wikipedia articles. Recently, I am still working to perfect it so that I may not be deemed a user who causes havoc to information that are stored here but a user who just wants to include information.

I sincerely apologize if I have caused something disastrous in the page because I have included something but still not "expert" in doing so.

Yet I declare myself not one of the users who try to damage articles here as my defense, in case someone might say I am a vandalizing person, which I'm not, and might be banned wrongly.

To include, I am also considering now that I will now not include that piece of information since it was just minor happenings and not big events that needs discussion/page to give informational article about it.

This is not to argue with the guidelines of keeping the whole Wikipedia network nor to defame/dispute with you. I know "competence is required" but I need to contribute somehow little by little, and I am not blaming you over this since this was your responsibility, not only you but all of us, to keep vandalism and misinformation/disinformation out of this truthful platform. I was just including this because I am from the Philippines myself, living, and including this might help expand the said article because this is a "very first Bangsamoro parliamentary elections" as the source GMA News Online of GMA Integrated News (GMA Network Inc. (media company in the Philippines)) said.

Again, this is not to defame/dispute with you but my opinion regarding this as I am an amateur still and you are an expert I suppose that thrives on different worlds but I need also respect even though I am still not good in this field.

If you want to respond, just reply here.

Hope you understand me.

You have had a history of adding content without bothering to add supporting references on another article [1], and now you have displayed the exact same behavior and then proceeded to perform improper edits that wreck the structure and readability of the article and then recklessly restoring them despite being called out [2] [3] [4]. I sincerely suggest you come fully prepared in adding information and learn more about proper referencing and formatting guidelines if you want to be taken seriously as a constructive editor. A cursory look at the article you have just edited should have given you the hint why your edits were removed in the first place. Borgenland (talk) 04:41, 27 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Borgenland,I knew they were incomplete without supporting sources to back it up, and I left the page with the said pieces of things left incomplete to get the necessary information. I have come prepared, but I was honestly confused to why my new reference be not put in sequence to the already-installed general references. I know how to cite, it's this I was having problem with. Ernestfromphilippines (talk) 05:00, 27 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
It is because references must be put next to the relevant paragraphs itself instead of the references tab so it could easily be identified, which is why it was necessary for the paragraph to be complete. Unless this was done, it was necessary to remove such items on basis of WP:ONUS. Borgenland (talk) 05:05, 27 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Borgenland, Sorry if this has caused stress to you, because I have confused with the rather supposed act be done to have inline citation be put so sources be automatically put after the general references. Correct me to my assumption if I thought wrong again. Ernestfromphilippines (talk) 05:08, 27 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
