COVID-19 update

Hi editors, for my next request I propose adding the following to the Career section before the last paragraph:

During the coronavirus pandemic, Chesky reorganized Airbnb by eliminating most departmental divisions in the company and laying off 1,900 people.[1] As part of the layoffs, Chesky provided severance packages that included extended health care benefits and the creation of a directory of laid off employees to make it easier for them to find new jobs.[2] Chesky also changed the labor division within Airbnb, taking a more active role in day-to-day management and ensuring the top 30 members of the company were involved with all projects.[1]

Sounds slightly promotional to me. Here’s my suggested edit:
 During the coronavirus pandemic, Airbnb underwent significant restructuring, eliminating several departmental divisions and laying off approximately 1,900 employees.[1] The company offered severance packages that included extended health care benefits and published a directory of affected employees.[2] Chesky also took a more direct role in daily operations, involving senior leadership in broader company projects.
