Hello, I am planning on reviewing this article for GA Status, over the next couple of days. Thank you for nominating the article for GA status. I hope I will learn some new information, and that my feedback is helpful.
If nominators or editors could refrain from updating the particular section that I am updating until it is complete, I would appreciate it to remove a edit conflict. Please address concerns in the section that has been completed above (If I've raised concerns up to references, feel free to comment on things like the lede.)
I generally provide an overview of things I read through the article on a first glance. Then do a thorough sweep of the article after the feedback is addressed. After this, I will present the pass/failure. I may use strikethrough tags when concerns are met. Even if something is obvious why my concern is met, please leave a message as courtesy.
Best of luck! you can also use the {{done}} tag to state when something is addressed. Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs)
Please let me know after the review is done, if you were happy with the review! Obviously this is regarding the article's quality, however, I want to be happy and civil to all, so let me know if I have done a good job, regardless of the article's outcome.

Lede
- Lede should be very clear as to what the subject is about. I'd recommend sayning "... is an American professional ice hockey player who competes as a right wing for the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League (NHL). Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 09:10, 22 June 2025 (UTC)
Not done "[nationality] professional ice hockey [position]" is standard for player articles. See featured articles like Luc Bourdon and Ray Emery. — GhostRiver 17:44, 23 June 2025 (UTC)
- Born in Minnetonka, Minnesota, Brink spent two years with the Sioux City Musketeers of the United States Hockey League (USHL), winning Forward of the Year in 2019. - this seems dateless. When were they born, when did they play two years? Is this from 2019 onwards? What about before then? Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 09:15, 22 June 2025 (UTC)
- For someone not super clear with how American sports work, this seems to have this player get signed to the Flyers and then play a load for other teams. Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 09:15, 22 June 2025 (UTC)
- lede seems pretty loose. There's no mention about what he's done as a player, I notice he's represented America and won World Junior cups. Also one forward of the year is mentioned, but he's won more than one. Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 09:15, 22 June 2025 (UTC)
General
- The early life jumps from him skating with people to joining a team. Perhaps mention this is a junior team. Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 09:18, 22 June 2025 (UTC)
- Brink recorded 35 goals and 68 points - as I understand it, you get a point from goals and assists. So, was this 35 goals and 68 assists, or 35 goals and 33 assists. Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 09:18, 22 June 2025 (UTC)
- This happens throughout, if it's the later, should read "35 goals in 68 points" or similar. Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 09:29, 22 June 2025 (UTC)
Not done "goals and points" is proper. See NHL.com, with the phrase compiled 12 goals and 32 points.

- Gathleen Gazich - are we 1000% sure this is the name, and not Kathleen? Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 09:29, 22 June 2025 (UTC)
Done It is in fact Kathleen. — GhostRiver 17:44, 23 June 2025 (UTC)
- and his participation in international tournament - in "an" international tournament (if one, else replace tournament with "competition".) Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 09:29, 22 June 2025 (UTC)
- following a seven-game pointless streak and three healthy scratches in a row, - similar to earlier, is this seven pointless games AND three games where they didn't play, or seven games including three where they didn't play. Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 09:29, 22 June 2025 (UTC)
- There, he recorded two goals and six points in seven games, earning a gold medal for Team USA alongside fellow Flyers prospect Cam York - I don't see how the last bit makes any difference. Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 09:31, 22 June 2025 (UTC)

Review meta comments
- I'll begin the review as soon as I can! If you fancy returning the favour, I have a list of nominations for review at WP:GAN and WP:FAC, respectively. I'd be very grateful if you were to complete one of these if you get time. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 09:08, 22 June 2025 (UTC)
- Hi Lee Vilenski – currently chipping away at this one but will likely need some extra time due to meatspace needs. — GhostRiver 19:28, 1 July 2025 (UTC)
