Gargüera de la Vera is a municipality located in the province of Cáceres in the autonomous community of Extremadura, Spain. According to the 2006 census (INE), the municipality had a population of 151 inhabitants, which had shrunk to 128 people by 2018 according to the INE's figures for that year, but had grown to 176 by 2023.[2] The municipality covers an area of 123 square kilometres (47 sq mi).
