Bohunice (Hungarian: Hontbagonya; pronounced [ˈhontɒbɒɡoɲɒ]) is a village and municipality in the Levice District of the Nitra Region, in southwest Slovakia.

History

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1270.

Geography

The municipality lies at an altitude of 261 metres (856 ft)[3] and covers an area of 12.83 km2 (4.95 sq mi) (2024).[4]
