It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Brit Awards 1990, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at Got the Feelin'. Binksternet (talk) 15:18, 4 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm I dream of horses. I noticed that in this edit to This Morning (TV programme), you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. I dream of horses (Hoofprints) (Neigh at me) 20:40, 19 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I thought was only trying to make a good contribution to editing on Wikipedia, however it's clear to me that I have caused some disrpution to editing and I take full responsibility for what I've done and for that I would like to apologise. From now on I promise I will make better contributions to Wikipedia and will use talk pages going forward to avoid edit warring and disruption and I also promise that this kind of behaviour will not happen again.

Decline reason:

Please describe concisely and clearly how your edits merited a block, what you would do differently, and what constructive edits you would make. Please read Wikipedia's Guide to appealing blocks for more information. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 21:40, 23 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I thought was only trying to make a good contribution to editing on Wikipedia, however it's now clear to me that I have caused some disrpution to editing by removing some references when I shouldn't have. I take full responsibility for what I've done and realised I should've constructed edits clearly with other editors and used talk pages to avoid being blocked and for that I would like to apologise. From now on I promise I will make better contributions to Wikipedia and will use talk pages to discuss editing and making changes on a page and going forward to avoid edit warring and disruption and to construct better with other editors and I also promise that this kind of behaviour will not happen again.

Decline reason:

This is essentially the same unblock request you made previously, which was declined. Please don't waste our time like this. Yamla (talk) 12:35, 25 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not trying to waste anyone's time, I did the right thing by explaining what I did was wrong, I took responsibility for my own actions and that this kind of behaviour would not happen again, so my question is are you saying that I haven't got the right to appeal? and if not then what do I have to do to convince you that I can be unblocked 82.19.40.217 (talk) 17:40, 12 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Trey Farley

There was an WP:AFD discussion on it, which explicitly concluded with a consensus that the article was not properly sourced for the purposes of earning him a standalone biographical article, and thus he should be redirected to the show. So if you think you can do better than the original article, by citing proper WP:GNG-worthy sourcing to properly demonstrate his notability, then you're perfectly free to try writing a draft new version at Draft:Trey Farley — but you are not free to arbitrarily overrule an AFD consensus by just restoring the old article as it was. Bearcat (talk) 19:14, 27 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

And just for the record, when it comes to establishing that a person is notable enough for a Wikipedia article, reliable sourcing does not mean IMDb or his "staff" profiles on the self-published websites of companies he's directly affiliated with (like production companies whose film or television projects he appeared in, or his management agent) — it means analytical content about his career in third party sources like newspapers, magazines or books. Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Shine a Little Love. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. You appear to be on an anti-US crusade. Desist. If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Shine a Little Love. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Dorsetonian (talk) 18:56, 25 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The lead to Shine a Little Love was established. You were entitled to amend it, but that edit had been challenged. Per WP:BRD, if you think the lead should not mention the US release, start a discussion on the talk page. Dorsetonian (talk)

Request reason:

I take responsibility for my own wrong doing, there's no excuse for it, I should've used the talk page to sort out what should be on a Wikipedia page rather than edit warring. I only just want to make good contributions to Wikipedia, that's why I put the British-born on famous people who were born in the UK because their nationality is not really australian or any other country. However my reverted edits suggested otherwise and I now accept that and want to find a way forward. I do regret getting myself blocked from editing and for that I do apologise and I promise that if I was to get unblocked then I can assure you that this kind of behaviour won't happen again. I just want to make good contributions, that's all.82.19.40.217 (talk) 15:51, 19 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

These are essentially the same promises made in the last set of unblock requests, and you resumed the disruptive behavior after those blocks expired. I think you need to wait this one and reflect on how your conduct will be different next year. Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 15:33, 19 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
