The implication that Brodie Engineering is a successor to Andrew Barclay is untrue. The Andrew Barclay (Wabtec) Business was closed down in 2020. Then the site was leased to Brodie who already had a nearby workshop for expansion purposes. The two entities have nothing more in common than leasing the same building. This can be confirmed from public data submissions.

Should it be considered splitting the two into separate articles, if Brodie is even significant enough to have it own. ~2025-41126-94 (talk) 11:46, 16 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
