Protein-coding gene in humans
Cerebellar degeneration-related protein 2 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the CDR2 gene .[ 5] [ 6] It promotes cerebellar Purkinje cell survival through downregulation of c-Myc , indicating that CDR2 is a protooncogene .[ 7]
