James Byron Dean (8. veebruar 1931 Marion, Indiana osariik – 30. september 1955 Cholame, California osariik) oli USA filminäitleja.
James Dean hukkus liiklusõnnetuses.[1]
1999. aastal avaldatud edetabeli "AFI's 100 Years...100 Stars" (Ameerika Filmiinstituut) tulemuste põhjal asub näitleja meesstaaride edetabelis 18. kohal.
