HSL Properties is an owner-managed apartment rental company headquartered in Tucson Arizona. HSL Properties currently has over 400 employees, and 35 apartment complexes in Tucson and Phoenix. The company was founded in 1975 by Humberto S. Lopez and Glenn Toyoshima. HSL is now the largest owner-managed apartment provider in Arizona. It has over 9,000 apartment homes across its 35 complexes and has two hotels in Tucson with nearly 500 rooms.

The company was founded in 1975 when Humberto Lopez and Glenn Toyoshima purchased their first apartment complex. Since that time HSL Properties has owned properties in 5 states including Arizona, Texas, California and Georgia.
