Menehunes Motorcycle Club was founded by islanders in 2011 in Hayward, California, United States. The club has adopted its name from the Menehunes of Hawaii, mysterious mythological indigenous people of the islands, who were strong enough to conquer mighty feats, night dwellers and short in stature. Even though not all members are islanders, the Menehunes MC is based on keeping and valuing the Hawaiian culture and traditions as well as maintaining comradery and ohana atmosphere and brotherhood within club members.
