Uppinpatna (or Uppinapattana) (Cordinates: 14.469025, 74.491047) is a small hamlet about 13 kilometers north east of Kumta in Uttar Kanara district of Karnataka. It lies on the bank of the river Agnashini and is connected by road to Kumta and Sirsi via the nearby outpost named Katgal.

The 2001 census puts the population to 827.
