| I'm a new editor on Wikipedia and a new Northwesterner, originally from the South. I'm studying Human-Computer Interaction in school, and I'm especially interested in online social networking and communities. I don't have a particular area of interest on Wikipedia, but maybe I'll develop one as I get more comfortable editing... I'm editing a bit sporadically now that school's started, but I'm fitting edits in when I can!

I'm trying to improve the Otero Mesa stub, even though I've never even been to New Mexico. It's really fun to sleuth around the internet and the library trying to find information about a place I've never been. It's also helping me learn Wiki markup and other WP conventions - right now I'm trying to learn about Geoboxes, and trying to find substantial enough info on Otero Mesa to include a geobox on the page. The sandbox page for my Otero Mesa revision is here. (I think I linked this wrong. Help me learn by telling me how to do it!)
