I think we better rename it to "Disputed areas of North Iraq" or possibly "Disputed Kurdish-Iraqi areas" to reflect which areas this article is dealing with. Wahsington Post call those "disputed areas in Iraq’s north" [1]; ABC news use same wording [2]. The Tel Afar region (NE of Sinjar) is currently under the control of the Kurds too but the map doesn't show that.
