I am taking the task of improving this article which I consider of great importance to the Kashmir Shaivism (and not only) topic. It was left in a "stub" stage for years. I have completely replaced the stub with the introductory paragraphs and will post the rest of the article as soon as I compile the references (over 90) that I have already collected.
