We already have Category:Persecution of Muslims do we need Category:Violence against Muslims as well? Isn't the latter subsumed in the former? Jason from nyc (talk) 16:18, 7 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I guess violence is a more generic term. Persecution, at least to me, involves something more systematic and is often state-sponsored. Violence can include persecution, but also isolated incidents of violence.VR _talk 04:05, 18 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
