Revision as of 18:00, 7 October 2006

The following table lists users who are participants in the WikiProject Chemistry. Please feel free to add yourself to the list. Instructions can be displayed by editing the page (if you can't figure out how to edit the table, just leave your info at the bottom of the page and someone will probably update the table for you).

If you are a participant, you can keep in touch with project developments by adding Wikipedia:WikiProject Chemistry to your watchlist.

There are many data pages that need expanding before Wikipedia reaches a point where a user looking for some common particular datum can have a reasonable expectation of finding it here. I have already made some additions to water (data page) and ammonia (data page) with material that I consider to be fundamental regarding these very important compounds. Will be working on expanding other data pages with similar data and more.

I also feel that every important compound, organic and inorganic, that we cover in Wikipedia should have a descriptive chemistry (or equivalent) section that gives at least an outline for preparation, and some characteristic reactions. I have already add this for a few entries.
