Sinhgad Technical Education Society (STES) is an educational organization based in Pune, Maharashtra, India.[1] Established in 1993 by Prof. M. N. Navale, the society operates a Multiple educational institutions offering programs in engineering, management, pharmacy, architecture, law, arts, and commerce.[2]

STES has multiple campuses across Vadgaon, Solapur, Sangola, Warje, and other locations, provides degree programs in multiple disciplines.[1][3]

History

Sinhgad Technical Education Society was founded to offer Technical and professional education. Initially starting with a few engineering and management colleges, the society expanded over the years, establishing multiple institutions catering to various academic disciplines.[2]

The organization has contributed to higher education in Pune and surrounding regions. Its institutions are affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU)[4] and Affiliated with regulatory bodies such as the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)[5], Pharmacy Council of India (PCI)[6], Bar Council of India (BCI), and National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

  • National Conference on Data Science & Analytics Innovation Summit – Organized by Sinhgad Institute of Management.[37]

Present Status and Future Prospects

Despite financial difficulties, STES continues to operate its institutions, focusing on academic growth, research, and innovation. The RMD Sinhgad Technical Institute Campus remains active in cultural and educational events, such as Republic Day celebrations in 2025.[39]

The institution aims to revitalize its financial standing, expand research initiatives, and maintain its position as one of the leading educational societies in Maharashtra.[1]
