Imelda Kennedy is a camogie player for Shannon Gaels, nominated for inclusion in the full back berth on the club team of the year award in her debut 2007 season.[1] So far Kennedy has won two county championship Club medals, a Munster championship Club medal and two county league titles with her club.[citation needed] She looked up to the likes of Frank Lohan and D J when she was a little girl. She won an All Ireland Senior B medal at second-level college level. She won an All Ireland medal at Féile na nGael level when she was a little girl. And Kennedy won an All Ireland runners up medal with Clare at minor level, as well as two Munster minor medals.
