Description
English: Designed in c.1916. The 40th Division took Bantam cock on a white diamond as its divisional symbol. After the 1916 Battle of Bourlon Wood, an acorn was added. The acorn symbol was readopted in 1943, when a 40th Division was created for deception purposes.
