Tradeview Markets is a multi-asset brokerage firm founded in 2004. It specializes in providing financial services to both retail and institutional traders, offering access to a variety of trading platforms, including MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, cTrader, Takion, Lightspeed, Sterling, DAS, and CQG. These platforms enable real-time account management and trade execution across multiple asset classes, including forex, stocks, futures, indices, metals, and energy commodities.[1][2]
History
Tradeview Markets was founded by Timothy Furey with the aim of providing institutional-level trading services to independent traders.[3] Initially operating as part of Rosenthal Collins Group with a focus on the Forex market, Tradeview became an independent brokerage in 2009, expanding its services to both retail and institutional clients.
In 2012, the company established its headquarters in the Cayman Islands, operating under the regulation of the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA).[4] This move was followed by a rebranding from Tradeview Forex to Tradeview Markets in 2015 to reflect its expansion into broader financial markets.[5]
Tradeview Markets has continued to evolve its offerings. In 2016, the company introduced its Innovative Liquidity Connector (ILC), designed to enhance trade execution by reducing spreads and slippage.[6] In 2019, the company launched TradeGATEHub, a social trading platform that enables users to collaborate in real-time on market trends and financial news.[7]
The company has received industry recognition, including being named the Best Forex broker at the Fazzaco Expo in Dubai in 2021.[8] In 2022, Tradeview secured a Category 2 Investment Services License from the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA), allowing it to provide financial services to European clients. Further expanding its reach and partnerships, Tradeview became the official premier partner of the Leicester Tigers Women’s Rugby program in 2023[9] and received authorization as a CME futures broker.[10]
Tradeview Markets has been featured in several prominent media outlets, including El Tiempo, Spreaker, and Xataka.[11][12][13] These publications have provided insights into the rise of investment applications, the role of brokerage firms in providing secure trading solutions, and Tradeview Market's global investment opportunities and growth in emerging markets.[14][15]
