Peace of Mind Bookstore is located at 1401 East 15th Street in Tulsa’s historic Cherry Street district. Opening in 1975, it is one of the oldest new age bookstores still in existence.

In 2011, the founder of the bookstore, Barry D. Bilder, was involved in a legal case titled "Church of Holistic Science, Inc. v. Barry D. Bilder". The case was filed in the District Court of Tulsa County, Oklahoma.
