Infinitus is a beatboxing string trio based in Vancouver, Canada. The members are John Littlejohn (violin), Anthony Cheung (viola), and Alex Cheung (cello).[1] [2]
Infinitus was formed in 2008 by twin brothers, Anthony Cheung and Alex Cheung, and John Littlejohn, a long-time friend and colleague.[2] [3] John, Anthony, and Alex attended the University of Michigan School of Music together for their undergraduate degrees; after separating for graduate school, the three reunited in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, where they formed Infinitus.[4]
Infinitus is known for performances that combine classical music with hip-hop, jazz, latin, and gospel music. They have toured throughout Canada, the United States of America, China, and Egypt.[5][6][7]
