Schedule Tribe State government granted Schedule tribe status for the van Gujjars in the state...[4]
Population Government recent census is not conducted yet but according to 2011 states's census report Gujjars contribute as 5.7% in Himachal Pradesh's total population.[5]
Muslim Gujjars Muslim Gujjars mostly found in Chamba, Mandi, Solan, Una and Siemaur districts of Himachal Pradesh (Dev-Bhumi) also some found in forest and mountains land.[6]
Hindu Gujjars
The Hindu Gujjars are settled in Una, Mandi, Bilaspur, Kangara, Chamba, Solan, Siemaur districts of the state.[7]
Origin They came to India with one the migration of Huns.....[8]
