In 2007, the Government of Mongolia established Erdenes Mongol LLC as Mongolia’s principal state-owned enterprise with the goal of creating value and benefits by integrating Mongolia's strategically important mineral deposits into the national economy. Erdenes Mongol Group serves as the holding company for 31 different legal entities organized into three groups: Copper & Metals, Fuel & Energy, and Infrastructure & Logistics. As the largest player in the mining industry, our group is involved in the exploration, mining, beneficiation, and refining of gold, silver, copper, coal, and other minerals, holding 67 mining licenses and 17 exploration licenses. Together, we account for a substantial share of Mongolia’s resource sector. ^[1][2]
