"computer system that solves crimes"
I find the expression "computer system that solves crimes" a bit childish. I can't imagine anyone calling a magnifying glass a "visual aid that solves crimes"... It's a tool, nothing more. Anyone mind if i change this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.133.166.197 (talk) 17:55, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

CODIS does contain identifying info
CODIS was used to rapidly identify attempted Trump shooter Crooks despite no previous criminal record. This proves the database contains private, non-criminal, citizen DNA, and personally identifiable information. This of course violates most states US privacy laws. 47.208.67.199 (talk) 17:13, 14 July 2024 (UTC)
